Hi im having a problem with the hotkey..
i copied the extracted file(from the AI i downloaded) to C:\program files(x84)\Granado Espada\release\user\hotkey folder
Yes, im using windows 7 ultimate
when i opened user.xml, i first used adobe dreamweaver then change the "default" to
"C:\program files(x84)\Granado Espada\release\user\hotkey\Hotkey.xml"
I opened the game. i saw the [AI]initiated] stuff.
i tried to use the shift+F1, or any other commands but nothing happend.
so i tried to redo the user.xml
then i open the launcher and click on option..
this thing pops up:
Returned to the Default value as the hotkey defined by the user does not exist
so i clicked ok, then i tried to change the hotkey in the hotkey.exe itself.
then this thing popped up..
Loaded hotkey is unavailable. Please restore to the default setting and try again.
so i tried once more and opened user.xml with Notepaad
then changed again the hotkey filname "default" to what was instructed..
same thing happens..
what could be the problem??
i seek solution
tnx!

Re: Problem with hotkey
So you're sure that the full path to your Hotkey.xml that you typed into user.xml is correct?
Dunno if this is just a typo, but you mean x86, not x84 right.
Also, which version of GE are you using? (SGE, USA etc)
Anyways, if all the paths are correct then it's possible that the Hotkey.xml file is not correct for that version of GE anymore and something needs to be updated. If you compare the AI Hotkey.xml and the original Hotkey.xml file, the only difference between them should be the additional AI commands. If anything else is different, then those differences need to be updated into the AI Hotkey.xml.

Re: Problem with hotkey
sorry it was just a typo.. it is x86,
regardless of that, i just copy-paste the location of the hotkey..
im using SEA version (SGE)..
if so you say i need to update the hotkey, may i know how and where can i get an update??
i will aslo attach our latest ge.exe later if you may need it..
(today is SGE's weekly maintenance)
thank for the reply sir.. i hope we can fix this error soon

Re: Problem with hotkey
You'd need the original Hotkey file that GE uses, then copy the additional AI command hotkeys into that original file (should be fairly straight-forward... just follow the same format as all the other hotkey bindings). As for how you get this... unless you made a backup I think you'll need to ask someone who has the original hotkey file to post or send it.
Edit: Actually, I forgot that you can just re-generate a new Hotkey.xml file from the GE launcher... been too long
