yup, the green icon makes spotting them easily in the dark, gloomy prison.

You can bind 'Toggle("warehouse")' to hotkey, if you over collect just move it to vault. I have over 1k rat toenails in vault and like 360 (this is amount i will have to collect next time) in my inventory in rare case of getting send to prison. You can only store items in vault beside of city maps that allow to take them out.
